Clarity for the years ahead

Sources and financial references

Official sources provide background. Dhanwise’s selected inflation, returns, taxes and ages remain illustrative inputs—not official forecasts or endorsements.

Verified reference pages

These pages were checked on 8 October 2026 for the narrow descriptions below. This is not a full legal, tax or financial review.

  • Reserve Bank of India — Monetary Policy

Policy context: price stability while keeping growth in mind. This is not an endorsement of our household inflation input or a long-term inflation forecast.

  • NPS Trust — About NPS

Describes NPS as a market-linked, defined-contribution retirement scheme. It does not guarantee the return selected in this calculator.

  • India Post — Saving Schemes

Lists PPF among post-office small-savings schemes and describes annual compounding. Check the current scheme documents for eligibility, rates and withdrawal conditions.

Where the calculation claims come from

The formulas and worked example describe Dhanwise’s own deterministic engine. The example is generated by that engine, with tests comparing the public tool to the planner. Official references do not validate its mathematical assumptions or certify suitability.

No current EPF exemption, NPS exit percentage, PPF interest rate or salary-tax rule is asserted by these public guides. Verify current scheme documents and applicable tax law before making a decision.
